I heard that it cuts off at like December 10 or something
Hmmm? Interesting. I didn’t play much PS4 last year, it was mainly Switch.
Then again my hours suggest otherwise. LOL
I’m confused.
@YeezyDude When do you anticipate the full PS5 announcement/reveal with games? Given Playstation's absence at E3, that is
DREAMS still hasnt came out???
It's out in less than 1 month.
@LD Well this Summer or sometime in September. Anything later than that would be a bad move by Sony.
Also we should be getting a PS5 event that reveals some specifications, the controller, OS etc. in February or nothing later than April hopefully.

How do you guys feel about sony leaving E3?
And side question what would it take for you guys to ever stop spinning news for sony?

This PlayStation wrap up definitely a little bugged cause it says I put 230 hours into overwatch and when I check overwatch I have like 160 hours total over the life of the game across all modes.
Maybe it counts as long as the application is open or maybe even sleep mode hours.
It also says I put 90 hours in red dead 2 but I beat the game in like 3 days speeding it.

Not gonna lie I kinda wish they did, that E3 showdown is a tradition.

Cant wait for all the playstation fanboys that acted like "the more powerful console isnt a big deal anymore" to change up
Microsoft should have never pushed teraflops into mainstream marketing now its all ppl talk about and they don’t even know what it is

But if they do end up being more powerful and having more teraflops isn't that a W for them then?

Yes but then the argument will switch back to games so its a never ending cycle.
18TF
that’s more powerful than a 2080ti lmao dude needs to stop lying
there will be much more powerful GPUs than the 2080s released by the time these consoles released
we’re getting the 3080 by March probably which will s*** all over the 2080... and these consoles will come out like 6-7 months after that, not surprising if they’re equivalent to 2080
Not to mention they usually sell consoles at a loss so expensive gpu makes sense

What does that have to do with a console apu? Its not one large die specifically for a gpu there are other things on these chips besides graphics cores

we don’t even know what these consoles will cost at retail when they drop
I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re selling like $600-700 hardware being sold at a loss for $400-$500 for a while, remember that by 2021 it will be much cheaper to produce, cost goes down and the user base buying lots of software makes up for selling the consoles at a loss

The xbox series X soc is roughly 400mm² which is the largest console apu made to date, we know from leaks the sony apu is smaller than that, a 2080ti is 754 mm² there is no way either of these boxes will be more powerful than a 2080ti which has about 14TF of compute

Each console’s gpu is custom made in-house by Sony/Microsoft it’s not going to be a similar size to an actual gpu in a pc. I think it’ll be equivalent like the guy said, not more powerful than a 2080ti. Anyways it’s not that surprising, they’ll still be way behind the 3080 releasing in March, like usual the consoles are a few steps behind PCs.

Actually its made by AMD and those companies work with them to build an APU to each companies specifications, my point stands a smaller die which needs to house CPU cores and GPU cores will not be more powerful than a die almost twice its size specifically for GPU cores
