I don't really see them undercutting the series S. I'm expecting $400 and $500 or $450 and $500. If the disk drive version ends up being more expensive than the X I wouldn't be surprised tho

They lost the Price War. They aren’t going to be able to compete there. They are just going to have to push that they have the best games (which won’t be hard) to justify spending $500 or more on a less powerful console thn the Xbox Series X. The casual/general players that I know really like how cheap the Series S is. So we’ll see how this all pans out.

That's IF Sony makes the PS5 Pro weaker than whatever the mid-gen upgrade XSX will be. I think with PS5 having the better I/O, SSD speed, Smart-shift and some parts of RDNA 3 so is Sony more future proofing it compared to the XSX. I think there's some surprises that will be discovered in the next couple of years
