So I can only get those juicy fast loading times with a couple of games with that 800GB SSD
I hope install times have improved as well, going to be alot of uninstalling & installing
Exactly... Or well that depends on its speed as one that's slower than the PS5's NVME M.2 SSD isn't worth it.
@pimp The kind of technology they use makes it this weird. So if they want to make it more so will it have to be 1.65 TB's and not 2 TB's. Which makes that rumored PS5 with 2 TB's of space sound fake. But the upgradeable part of the PS5 storage doesn't have these kind of weird GB/TB numbers.
so in short you're telling me i should've watched that Road to PS5 video huh

The nvme drives should still have the super fast load times
Except maybe instead of 2 seconds... it will be 3.5

Yep lol.
Can you link me to this drive

Stealth launched on amazon a couple weeks ago, got 1TB for 110$. It’s taken off but it’s in my build rn
All sony gotta do is show us a teaser of God of War and they can pretty much put any price tag they want.
I can't imagine getting physical games for PS5
All it'll be is a key to unlock the game on your console, no different how recent games are on PS4, but PS5 is so f***ing fast.
I would hate to slow it down by having the game read from a f***ing disc.
Yep lol.
smh
i ended up a casual

Since ps4 the console doesn’t read games from the disc. It downloads it to the console. It will be just as fast on disc

Right?
Also pre-ordering a physical and waiting for it or picking it up instead of the convenience of pre-loading it and having it on release night>>>

True.
But I don't know how much value a disc will offer these days.
smh

Also the NVME M.2 SSD's out right now aren't worth it. The read speed is good (7 GB's/s) but the write speed is 5 GB's/s which is slower than PS5's 9 GB's/s. So been an early adopter has its issues right now. I would personally wait until mid-late 2021 to get a PS5 and upgrade its storage

nah but i mean
u dont kno how other people function
maybe people get movies
couples, family whatever, its an entertainment system at the end of the day right

That's my reason for getting the disc version, for 4K Blu-ray movies.

bro i just bought a PS4 Slim late July
cause i missed 2 generations of gaming, im chill rn
will wait on a "PS5 Pro" in like 2 years

Yeah you're good until 2023 at least... Me though? Nah I haven't bought a console since November 2014 so getting a PS5 in 2021 makes sense to me. Because if I wait until 2022 so will some stuff start leaking about the PS5 Pro and then so will I just wait some more lmao... So yeah I better start saving up for that 2021 version of the PS5 (Well the one who should be able to last more compared to a launch PS5) and a 8K TV from Sony (2021 version) with gaming related features or a monitor if there's a good one for the PS5.
@GEOLINK Yep... So good but not so good at the same time. But if I do or you do have the money to just get a new one then why not be an early adopter? Nah mean? But nah I gotta get one in 2021 and then save up for that PS5 Pro which is out in like 3-4 years from now.
casuals gon go crazy tho just for a machine to play cod and gta v on
meanwhile gang over here waiting on miles morales
I buy video game systems to play games. I need software. Automatically meaning I cant get down with MS until they invest in better content for their customers.
