i get they just use their partnerships with squarenix and others now . But would love to make other genres than narrative singleplayer movie like games again even if partnerships with other developers because I like the variety. It also allows their first party companies to mix it up.

I played it as a kid was so so good but yeah I have vast knowledge of what sony has been and what theyve become thats why I become a bit soured. Especially when I see an astrobot celebrate how weird they have been willing to see while knowing none of those franchises celebrated are coming back anytime soon even though they would be smaller budget and could make the returns.

I hope they someday realize that it doesn't always have to be about huge AAA/AAAA games and smaller/mid size projects (games) can also be good for them and us gamers.

But yes Astro Bot is one of the positive things Sony is doing but that's not enough so they need more of the games they haven't made a new one from plus something new and good.

But dunno if today's Sony will be willing to do that... Perhaps during the PS6 generation? I mean we'll see... But I don't so far expect them to do that tbh.

Crazy part is the technology and graphics of the order were insane. Did it need to learn some things for a sequel? yes. In general Naughty Dog makes games at their own speed. Spider Man 3 we know is coming. Physint we know is coming. God of war Laufey cool. But start reviving some of their old franchises

Nah some of this on Sony still. They make the GAAS because the budget of their single player games is so high. They shutdown Sony Japan, London Studio and others that used to create a lot of their variety.
