If your CMOS battery dies, the problem of not being able to play your digital games persist. Jumping through one hoop for another. What are you saying?

I believe Sony made the CMOS battery thing not be an issue anymore... But in case it somewhat still is so is it easy to remove and replace it on the PS5 Pro.

But like I said... I believe the whole CMOS thing is no longer an issue.

I remember playing returnal years ago and i died before or during a boss fight, and the game resets you way back

I can't remember if i uninstalled because I couldn't find any ammo to go fight the boss or if I just got lost again

But whatever happened it caused me to uninstall, saros should be 30 bucks and sony needs to drop ps6 next year with some actual good exclusives

Yep lol... Sony needs to respond very quick though when it comes to this kind of stuff so it doesn't create a lot damage to their PlayStation brand.

It’s not over nothing. What is up with some of yall in this thread? Yall acting like these companies are very pro consumer. If they could manage to get us on some sorta permanent subscription model to play games, they would do it. Staying vigilant like this is the way to combat against it.

Well I don't mind that as in people still letting Sony etc. know they can't get away with adding new absurd rules to how digital and physical games are handled via DRM etc... But stuff is okay-ish so far so I guess there isn't a lot of stuff to worry about at the moment.

But yes we should let them know that we won't accept them taking away our ownership of digital or physical games indeed.

I think they would want to do it before SGF 2026 which is June 5th 2026... So I think we should expect something around mid-late May 2026 hopefully.
