My pet theory is gaming gens are just gonna get longer and longer. I haven’t touched a game that’s felt truly “9th gen” yet

15 hrs in and I just beat it. I'd give it a final rating of 4/5 as the general gameplay was quite fun (though, the perfect dodge being locked to the backstep was an odd choice) but the 100 floors felt sooo drawn out. The one-time-use key cards didn't feel that restrictive but I found myself not using them as much I think I should've. Jumping ahead a number of floors and starting with basically no gear wasn't that appealing the higher you go. Also, there were some floor/room hazards that just felt a bit unfair because of how fast and how damaging they were (they did drop an update nerfing the damage a tad but they still hit hard). Music variety was ok i guess which wouldn't have been an issue for a roguelike if the floor sections and themes didn't run so long. The humor, though, landed the majority of the time and I looked forward to the new bits of dialogue I'd get fighting a boss again.

Ayyye that's lit. I just updated mine and played a lil' bit of Arc Raider and it felt great. Cloud streaming feels much smoother than remote play
