I think Astrobot will do great . I do think Sony does need to get in gear to have a multiplayer game though. GTA VI will definitely help them a large degree with many on PS5 and PS5 Pro for it but their own game certainly wouldn't hurt.

Biggest problem with a Pro model this time around l, Is the fact that the base model is still being sold at $500USD, as the top of the line Playstation. People are still buying PS5 consoles at this price, and even if the base model gets a price drop after the Pro releases, I can still see recent purchasers of base PS5 getting a very sour taste in their mouth.

Also the fact that the PS5 Pro is based on the idea of "better" vs the PS4 Pro being based on the idea of "4K/taking advantage of 4K TV". It creates a "Keeping up with Jones" type ordeal with customers. It wouldn't be a thing if Sony did like Apple, and released a Pro model alongside a base model at launch, giving people a choice, now your telling customers there's a new standard, after they thought they originally bought the "new standard".

All this makes me think that PS5 Pro will mostly be sold online, or specialty retailers, to target the specific audience it's made for.

Bruh. HD2 is the fastest selling Sony title ever. We know from the Insomniac leaks that GT7 and MLB make a s*** ton off their live service s***. Only one I play out of those is GT7 but reality is their live service s*** is working. One flop don't change that

As sad as it is, HD2 made more paper for Sony than Japan Studio's entire catalogue. Not to mention that if your logic is "Sony should stop trying to make multiplayer games because nobody buys them" you're advocating for the closure of s*** like Japan Studio. I aint with that. It doesn't matter "what game needs it." That's not how consumer spending habits work. Niggas buy new phones because the phone is new, not cuz it does s*** their old one don't. Niggas buying a PS5 for the new CoD and for GTA6 next year will get the Pro. Their main consumer base with Pro models is for late adopters, not niggas upgrading from the base model

If the trade in value is good and brings the Pro price down to $200 im definitely swapping mine in. No reason not to.

The reason not to immediately is to be sure it doesn’t have major problems lol. It’s a mass produced console at a time of chip shortage. Let’s say you trade in your perfectly fine ps5 for a ps5 pro and there is overheating , yellow light of death or red light or something is wrong in first months . Then you have no console in the winter lol

Most of their games or service s*** is a miss if it’s made solely with that in mind . MLB and gt are good games that work but a concord is a waste of money and time to make
