Anyone play insurgency sandstorm?
How’s the gunplay? Kind of want to try it but I prefer the cod style snappy aiming gunplay rather than a slower more clunky feeling one

It definitely doesn’t feel like COD, it’s a lot more tactical and slow paced. Give X-Defiant a try if you haven’t already, it’s about as close to COD gameplay as you’ll get.

I’m fine with tactical and slower paced gameplay, I’m more referring to how the aim response feels. Idk how to describe it, games like siege and hunt and like rdr2 first person feel a lil clunky when aiming if that makes sense

The movement and aiming is pretty sluggish, they go for realism over style with their animations. Siege is a little more arcady but it’s a close comparison for how it feels.

Yeah I still got a PS3 that's still working... But I would still want that as it could maybe improve those games even if it's just a more stable framerate!

damnnnn that is very scary for the future of gaming. Generations of games are going to be lost when these old consoles online servers get disabled. Our only hope is waiting 40 years for ps5/6 emulation on PC or buying the re-re-re-re-re-remake of a game every single generation.

people/hackers will find new ways to preserve digital games once it goes full digital I hope

as far as digital goes, nothing beats the convenience of downloading a game and it unlocking once it comes out though.

This is coming from someone who went to countless midnight releases at GameStop. Like cutting out that process & the order/wait from an online store has been a positive for me as a gamer.

can't forget the clutter of physical media one accumulates over the years from collecting games/movies/etc, that's gone.
