Who cares if it’s 1st party or 3rd if the game is available on the console either way? Besides if you bought a PS5 for exclusive only, your parents should be handling your finances irresponsible ahh

  • Feb 14, 2024

Like dragons dogma 2 comes out, do you not play it because it’s 3rd party and doesn’t count? Dimwits

AAA development isn’t sustainable anywho and eventually Sony and MS are gonna exit the hardware business.

If your gaming library isn’t on steam you’re already losing anyways

Steam not exactly the best argument for this but yes PC is imperative to the future of preservation, emulation and gaming as a whole

    @ILoveCheeseCake
Things aren’t greener on the other side either; I’m still waiting for the first proper Xbox (console) exclusive that makes me fawn over, and I’ve had a Series X console since launch..
Luckily I skipped the PS4/XO gen so I’ve had plenty to catch up on.

It’s just weird to me that these companies seem to be switching back to the 5-6 year console life cycles when almost all major AAA games are taking about that long to be released. I don’t see the point of buying a PS6 anywhere close to launch if it’s going to be like this again next generation.

Why is AAA dev unsustainable now but it was fine in the 2000s and 2010s

I think latter means 2nd half of the lifecycle. We still got 3-4 more years for ps6 id say.

How many ps5 only games (ps5/ps4) games we got this gen? Ps5 aint even been utilized yet

What exactly could the graphics update for ps6 even be? I'm not super in the technology loop but how would they go about updating graphics while keeping it affordable?

This sounds really short sighted. Lots of young people pc game currently. The technology for PC gaming just needs to catch up to make it more affordable

I never said a lot of people dont game on PC. I have a PC I game on. I said its not how most people consume games & its not....

If you think that's where we're headed thats your opinion.

"Young people" & Kids are two different things. Nintendo & Sony both are working on new hardware. Home console & handheld lol idk how anybody thinks this but again, we just disagree lol

    Death stranding 2 next year

Surely no one was expecting the GOT sequel to drop before April 2025 right?
But no DS2 in early 2025 confirmed I guess 💔

I'm half-convinced Tsushima 2 will be the last AAA game before the PS6.

AAA gaming isn’t sustainable because of growing development cost and development cycles on top of being high risk, high reward. It only takes a couple AAA bombs to sink PlayStation. If one looks at the statistics instead of pulling broad statements out their ass, PC gaming is growing year over year and products such as the steam deck and rig ally are making it more accessible. Only an idiot would downplay PC gaming in 2024

Lol you could've just quoted me but you didnt because you know in 10 years PC gaming wont be how the general public plays games. They'll be playing a Nintendo or a Playstation lol

If you wanna be pissy just say that. Nobody downplayed PC gaming but YOU'RE the idiot if you think thats gonna be the standard in video games.

Go cry somewhere else lmao dont get mad at me because yout typed a bunch of s*** takes nobody cared about lol

Unless you precisely asked for it, the average grandma aint looking for a steam deck dumbass. They are looking at s*** that has games in the store.
They dont know better & as long as home consoles are around that will be the standard. If you think consoles wont be in homes for much longer, then I'm sorry you're stupid lol people use these systems for more than gaming....

Talk about pulling s*** out your ass lol

Let me stop before I get called a bully again.
