Yo anybody else use the Sony duo charging station? It came in yesterday and I put my controller on it but at first it gives the orange 'charging' glow and then the glow goes away after a few sec. Is that supposed to happen?

PC headsets cost more than consoles, if you want VR that was always gonna be what the pricing looked like. VR not a cheap thing to get into.

Every new gen has better tech, the price doesn’t keep rising because of that. it’s not like the ps6 is gonna be $800 and the ps7 is gonna be $1000.

Also it’s not that much of a quality product, having a permanent wire that you can trip over when the competition released a wireless vr kit 3 years ago doesn’t scream “quality”

You're comparing console generations to the VR market which contiously improves every year. The leap between PSVR and the 2 is about 4 generations of VR iterations in improvement.

The meta quest is old tech that's not close to being top of the market or the best option to get for VR, that's why it's 399. By comparison the PSVR2 is much better hardware.

The two ones that are viewed as the best to get for the price right now have been the Index which is 500 or a rack for the full kit. Or the Vive 2 which is going for 700 and some change.

It's an appropriate price when you look at recent VR headset releases.

Psvr2 are for people who have considered a ps tattoo

I bought it but I never have to use it thanks to the outstanding battery life of my dual sense . Have you considered the edge ?

The tech isn’t the problem with psvr2 it’s there isn’t a killer app or any must play anything exclusive for it worth paying 500$
