I would say this controller first then later PS VR 2 when it has more games so that the price is justified

Lol some of these insiders/journalists are confusing people now with this whole PS5 Pro/PS6 thing. But what's more likely going to happen from the news we've been getting since 2022 at least is...

• The PS5 Pro exists indeed.
• A PS5 Digital Edition which you can add a Blu-Ray disc drive to is happening around Q3 - Q4 2023.
• PS6 isn't out before 2027 or even 2028 as this generation might be a little longer than the PS4 one.
• A PS5 Slim (speculation from me here) is out the same year the PS5 Pro is out so maybe like 2 months before it (September 2024 - September 2025) or 1 year before the PS5 Pro is out.
• The whole "Water-cooling" thing sounds fake... But if it's real so do I hope Sony will do it the right way.
• Sony's goal with the PS5 Pro is higher resolution, framerates and Ray-Tracing including faster loading times and including stuff like a better CPU, GPU, more RAM and a new design which I imagine will be like what they did with PS4 Pro so it'll still look at least kind of like a PS4.

That's all we know so far... And well this is what's likely to be real and happening so far. But don't expect something PS5 Pro related from Sony this year as they're both launching the PS VR 2 headset and the DualSense Edge controller plus the accessibility controller as well likely in mid-late 2023 or early 2024 probably. So yeah all we can do is wait and see when they'll finally start talking about it which I imagine been either early 2024 or mid-late 2024.

Anyway I just felt like sharing all what I've been reading and the videos I've watched about the PS5 Pro/PS6 so everybody here doesn't get confused and knows what's up so far in regards to this whole thing

Full Ray Tracing at 4K/60 will be a game changer for sure,with some games targeting 120fps im starting to see the point of a PS5 Pro now tbh.

Full? I would love that lol... But I am afraid that won't be possible until the PS6 is out but we'll see as I think it'll be possible with some AMD kind of DLSS (FSR) so it won't be real aka native 4K but it'll still help the PS5 Pro doing more of the kind of stuff we do expect from it when it comes to Ray-Tracing and higher framerates alone with of course the new and more powerful CPU/GPU and you know the other stuff.

I do see them putting some better hardware parts inside of the PS5 Pro compared to what they did with the PS4 Pro since it will cost at least $100 more so $499 at least... So we should be excited tbh. I just don't think it's coming this year... So let's say it'll be during late 2024 or some time in 2025. And well I think I can wait since I just got a PS5 so I'll be good for like 2-3 years at least since waiting at least 1 year after a console drops is a better idea to avoid early adopter issues and so I can get a console that will last longer hopefully and be better supported by the time I do get one.

But yeah since I never got a PS4 Pro so do I feel like I gotta get a PS5 Pro since this generation might be 1 year longer than the PS4 one and that will mean it'll indeed be a good idea to get a PS5 Pro since the PS5 will soon not be so good at handling very demanding games and nowadays so is it not good enough to have the same console that launched 6-7 years ago be the only one available until the PS6 is out... So yeah the PS5 Pro is indeed needed if you ask me
