Around a yr and a half,PS3 had MGS4 as the killer app for the system. PS5 has yet to have a real killer app(besides GOW:Ragnarok). As far as the console goes,i think its the best designed Sony Console since the PS2,aesthetically and hardware wise.

This "nothing to play" narrative is crazy, I'm convinced people actually weren't following gaming a decade ago

Let them cook, late ps5 era could match late ps4 era if we’re looking at Spider-Man 2, KOTOR remake, DEATH STRANDING 2, tlou factions and part 3, new IPs from Santa Monica studios, naughty dog, insomniac, sucker punch, etc.

Mgs4 came out 2 years after ps3, the heat is about to start dropping and ragnarok was the beginning

Also don’t think it can be overstated enough how much covid interfered with this industry. Definitely gonna take longer to get the ball rolling but we have some visual heavy hitters coming up in 2023 Spider-Man and DS2 gonna be nuts

Hogwarts Legacy,Dead Space Remake,Final Fantasy 16,not forgetting some indie games that'll probably sneak up on people,all in the first half of the yr.

And I myself would normally complain about remakes but when s*** like Silent Hill 2 is getting remade,it'll feel like a whole new game.
