Gave up on Horizon 2. Got about 17 hours in, and while there definitely some good elements there I just find it so hard to care about much of anything in the game.

Feel like I’m just mindlessly running around doing s*** and kind of zoning out during cutscenes. Conceptually there are aspects of it that I like, but execution wise it feels so droll and none of the characters in it are all that interesting tbh.

Personally, while the game technically looks great, I’m kind of over vibrant outdoor locals at this point (and I honestly think some of the Cauldron interior designs are just way too busy at times).

Also the game has the s***tiest mount in recent memory. You’re telling me this robotic dinosaur that’s made entirely of metal and advanced circuitry doesn’t know how to f***ing JUMP?

Except that if you have a brain cell you are not buying gamepass ultimate straight up and are instead just using all the offers Microsoft has left available for all these years to get it a lot cheaper. You can buy xbox live gold for 3 years, redeem the $1 upgrade and now you have gamepass for 3 years.

Also a lot of the PlayStation exclusives are already available for free on PS+, the amount of exclusives you are getting on the new tiers are a lot less when you take under the consideration that you have already played all these games.

Not that I care about the gamepass comparisons anyway, for someone like me who don’t care about these subscription services, this is not about “Sonys response to GamePass” but more like “Sonys response to backwards compatibility” and its trash, its insane to me how people can defend it and are okay with a feature like this being locked behind a subscription service. Its not surprising to me because Jim Ryan has made it very clear that he doesn’t care about game preservation but its still upsetting to see

100 gets you XBL Gold, and a library of games. There's more to Xbox than just Forza and Halo my brother. At the moment the Hitman series is up on there which is one of the few reasons I considered turning my Xbox on, but GTA V and RDR2 have both been on there for months at a time.

Not to mention the EA Play library.

Idk why u pressed. I'm all for Sony trying to combat Game Pass and make something of equal value but f***ing launch it as one standalone tier that gives you this game library, PS Plus AND whatever features rather than pricing out your consumer.

They’re two different libraries of games, I’ve already said this but Returnal, miles morales, god of war, etc. are not on game pass just like starfield and elder scrolls won’t be on ps plus extra/premium lol

Completely missed my point above that gamepass is pretty much given out for free. You buy Xbox Live Gold and you can literally upgrade that s*** to gamepass ultimate for $1. Theres really no comparisons
