Motivation is pretty low yet managed to get in 4 miles in probably an hour fifthteen minutes. Shin splints although not getting any worse aren’t getting better either. It’s not all bad as this opportunity let’s me exercise some discipline since you can’t always rely on motivation. I realise some days I’m not gonna be proud of the results, and to not forget that consistency is my number one goal.

Focused a lot more on my pacing tonight and felt a big difference. I kept my pace between 9:30-10:00 for like the first 2/5 of my run. I noticed I had a lot more energy in the second half and I was even able to jog up the entire hill that I usually have to do a least a little bit of walking on. I didn't even end up walking until the very last corner of my route but that was mainly because the top of my shin/bottom of my right knee was getting a little irritated so I just took 15-20 seconds to let it rest before picking right back up and finishing strong.

My pace is 10:00-11:00 on long distance. I basically focus long distance.
Did the Chattanooga Chase (TN) route today (Five miles, all hills) and god save me it was so f***ed.
F*** you are FAST!

Nah, I do need to switch things up a bit tbh. I mostly just run 6km around a track at around that pace. Also need to switch up my shoes, I'm using a basic pair of Nike Joyrides I've run around 150km in
