What shoes y’all use?
On cloudboom and saucony endorphin speeds are my current go-tos. Also got some Alphaflys for when I really wanna zoom.
The on’s are goat for me, but they’ll definitely have to be retired soon. Probably over 200 miles as of now and they’ve lost their bounce.

Nike zoom pegasus turbo 2 for training and Nike vaporfly next% for marathon's. How are the alphafly's for longer runs? Been trying to get a pair but heard some mixed things about them
Stopped running 4 years ago because it became repetitive
But I never stopped jumping rope & biking
Changing countries soon so I might pick up running again so I can get to know the place and since I won't have bike with me

I also have mixed feelings about them. There’s no denying they’re fast. I remember the first time shaving off 30 seconds off my usual mile (7min) without any perceived extra effort. The bounce from the pods, foam, and plating really entice you to go fast, but ultimately all of that just feels a little ‘chunky’ to me so I hardly find myself grabbing them.

I can definitely see how they could feel a bit chunky probably very similar to vaporfly's. Any ideas on what your next shoe is gonna be after you retire the cloudboom's?

Been using the same saucony’s I got in like 2019
should probably get a new pair to avoid injury but it seems like a headache to find the perfect pair again

I’ll just wear out the saucony’s. I enjoy running in them a lot too, and after that I’ll probably try out the second generation of the saucony’s.

I'm an idiot so really can't say much about it. Just started feeling pain lower down my calf, and that would transfer to either my knee or ankle.

I’ve actually been pretty consistent this year, averaging about 4-5 times a week since probably early February after taking a couple years hiatus. My speed is gone as is my stamina but I’ll regain my fitness I’m not worried about that. I’m approaching my running regiment differently this time. Not recording times and not following a plan has taken the pressure of meeting time goals off, and allowed me to remain consistent. I run because I enjoy the benefits it gives, not because I’m concerned with breaking personal records, which in the past I was.
Recently joined a local running club and loving it so far.
Did a solo one earlier just over two miles and i learned that Donda really isn't suitable running music
put some murda musik on by mobb deep tho
