i recall youtube sheriffs being s thing at least associated to bob dylan - idk if it is still today but just some years ago still they would track down daily uploads and make copyright claims and s***
the concept of it sounds so funny to me bc of the name alone - i imagine an actual sheriff sitting by the jail and taking down those videos one by one like they’re wanted dead or alive ppl 🤠

There was an actual guy named “web sheriff” hired by prince & the npg squad who went crazy taking down everything,
