Fortunately I get that part. With it being said, does any of this matter then?

It matters because it means that the democrats in the house can tell their constituents “see, we know he’s doing wrong and we tried to stop him”

Overall he couldn’t be stopped? Got it. :(

Well if for whatever reason something comes out that is too far (which is very unlikely) then the republicans may be compelled to remove him, but only if the people demand it

One more question, what are the positives to take away from today until forever even if stays in office?

That the democrats are willing to appease the people who voted for them

Meaningless petty things compared to what this president and past president have gotten away with like uh... torture, spying on the entire country, lying about why we need to go to war. I can think of a lot of things Trump is doing right now that are impeachable offenses but Democrats are skipping over them because they know they are complicit and don't want to set a precedent for future Democratic presidents. It's all theater to me but you do you.

I just gave you the facts and you disregard them as "theater"

Instead of actually being happy that one party is interested in holding up the constitution and using its chance you‘re deflecting to past presidents and insinuating that the Democratic party is the loser here.

Frankly, I’m not suprised anymore how stupid the majority of Americans are.

basically they’re doing impeachment theatrics so that they can get away with some heinous policies that everyone will only find out later on

so they want to impeach trump to potentially destroy any good reason for him to run again because they know they can't beat him come election time. Decent strategy. But now the democrats have to realize that no one that is running has a chance let alone can't identify with the majority of voters. The economy is doing well too so...

i was semi joking with the other post but impeachment doesn’t mean trump will stop being president but it means senate will now be able to vote on giving him the boot...which is unlikely

Nothing in the constitution would stop him. But if it’s at that point where 20 Republican senators are willing to vote to remove him as a first term president that’s really popular in his own party...he wouldn’t have a chance anyways

  • Dec 19, 2019

Tulsi really voted present. What a self serving fraud.
