Long story short: She thinks while she is opposed to Trump, this is all just theater and she doesn't want to become part of it.

Scust, biggest cop out in the history of the United States.

"I believe Trump is guilty of wrong doing". "But I really want my own talk show, so f*** it"

yeah bc “impeached” presidents have not historically been followed by a president from the opposing party, ie Clinton - Bush and Nixon - Carter

Yeah but Clinton had some crazy high approval rating leaving office. In the end what he did for the economy mattered more than anything else.

    be impeached
be removed from office (even though it's higly unlikely)
    Mike Pence becomes President
    get Presidential Pardon
    be appointed Vice President
    Pence wins 2020 election
    Pence immediatelly resigns
    Trump President again
he can serve a third term in 2024 because he has only been elected once
    Trump is president 2016-2028

idk who wrote this but perhaps they should read the constitution

Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.

because he's already a deeply divisive politician and people are going to care a lot more about the actual issues than they do this

Clinton did 2 terms, Nixon resigned. Your comparison is irrelevant. But I think Trump will get re-elected regardless. This impeachment thing is more irrelevant than anything. It might have a slight net positive effect, but it’s not a major factor either way.
