I don’t think Obama could legally be her VP.

i think theres criticism to be had for like, AIPAC and the Israeli government, and like for the Hisidim since they operate like a mafia basically, but lets not act like the random jewish family down the street is part of some global conspiracy come on now

Nobody’s acting like that but y’all. Jewish people (businessmen, politicians, etc) have hella money, power, and influence in American politics. That’s a fact. We feed Israel billions of dollars every year for no good reason. That’s also a fact. Do I believe Jewish dudes were responsible for 9/11? No, I think the idea is ludicrous, BUT there’s nothing wrong with challenging the public narrative about these kinds of things ESPECIALLY when the cracker ass American government has been caught doing even more egregious f***ery all throughout history. Y’all are overzealous and need to relax.

It's not impossible and it sure as hell wouldn't surprise me if the Dems try

And the supreme court would strike it down in a literal second.

Just cuz the constitution doesn't explicitly state something doesn't mean it can easily be circumvented

The Supreme Court wouldn't have authority to strike it down until after she won the nomination right??

What's stopping her from simply just saying Obama will be her VP simply to try and win the Dem Nomination/General Election and if SC strikes it down, well too bad America you already elected Hillary she'll find someone else too VP

This would become an instant controversy(once announced that is), in a very rare turn of events one that would definitely help her for once, and it allows the establishment to prop up a candidate without actually focusing on any substantive issue/policy...All they gotta do is hate-monger about how the ring wing hates Obama and people will eat that bs up

US Politics is searching for a scapegoat to empower their greed for Oil.

    Gonna post this here too:

On March 16, 2017 President Trump submitted his request to Congress for $639 billion in military spending—$54 billion—which represents a 10 percent increase—for FY 2018 as well as $30 billion for FY2017 which ends in September.

I want someone here to justify this for me

Something like that would be a huge controversy from day one. It would be struck down almost immediately. Also, I don’t think Obama is dumb enough to do something so legally ambiguous since he’s so concerned about his trash “legacy”.

Maybe this is why she's waiting until last minute to announce...

The first primary states are right around the corner and Supreme Court cases usually aren't brought to court overnight, even those of Original Jurisdiction

By waiting until the last minute to announce she's basically forcing the Supreme Court's hand to make such a decision in the middle of an election season which would be a horrible look, especially after the whole FBI scandal in 2016 that HRC's constantly complained about. The court striking down Obama as VP would only help her polling numbers even more

(I don't really believe this will happen, I'm just painting the picture of how this is a more than realistic probability)

    Impeachment hearing summed up:

someone heard someone say something to someone and someone told someone what someone else said.

Yes a controversy that would immediately garner tons of interest from those #BlueNoMatterWho idiots who will be preemptively convinced that the right wing boogeymen is out to stop them simply because their's a Republican Majority in the SC so they MUST support HRC

It being struck down wouldn't hurt his legacy though, it would only help because it will instantly be turned into a "Republicans are such bad guys that they didn't allow Obama to be VP" sort of thing

Or everyone would collectively go 🤨 because serving over two terms is illegal and putting hisself in that position isn’t a good look. Republicans would feast off of that for years.

The court heard new york times v united states in under a month i believe. for something this urgent it would go directly to the top of the docket, theyd find it unconstitutional within an hour and hilary and obama would both be tarnished for trying to circumvent the constitution

Y'all probably right but I will say this as a last note, general public don't know s*** about the constitution and if this were to happen it'd likely just be turned into a Left vs Right issue imo

Of course, I mention the general public's perception just to reiterate the idea that such a decision will likely help HRC's approval ratings in such a scenario

there are people who think this and you're being foolish if you don't believe that there are people that hate jews and twist these arguments to justify such. that said, i literally said in the original post AIPAC/Israel deserves criticism; of course it is good to challenge the public narrative, but you shouldn't act like some ethnic group is the sole cause of it and not a conglomeration of separate factors.
