I wish I had more frame of reference but I think the reason I’m so lenient with the word racist/not feeling oppressed is because the city/part of Connecticut I grew up in was just such a melting pot. I’ve only lived two other places but so far, nowhere has been so mixed and unified like my hometown and the surrounding areas
