wait but not for am5, am5 is DDR5 exclusive which is not gonna be rational for like another 1-2 years or so imo

wait for the new GPUs and corresponding PSU standard (PCI-E 5.0) coming this year instead

Nah am good lol... One of the reasons been it's curved and overpriced since it's not even a QD-OLED kind of monitor but a mini-LED one.

I am however looking forward to a good QD-OLED or at least OLED monitor from Sony, LG, Samsung, Acer, MSI, ASUS etc. to come in 2023 hopefully

yeah we will see I wonder how much faster it is vs the 12k at single thread and how it compares to Ryzen 7k in multicore

benchmarking should be interesting but I imagine everything will be pretty close on paper

That wouldn't surprise me tbh... AMD is doing a good job so far with their CPU's and well kind of GPU's as well so it'll be interesting to see how the CPU's from AMD and Intel will be once both are benchmarked. I hope the i9 13900KS CPU from Intel is out not many months after the i9 13900K is out though as I want that one the most of course

are you still thinking about building a computer with the 4090 and 13900KS?

yeah there are rumors AMD could have something fast in the GPU market soon excited to see how it stacks up also

I’m always much more interested in the latest GPUs though, CPUs just always seem like such small upgrade cause they refresh them way more often (yearly)

Yeah either a mix of RTX 4090 and i9 13900K or RTX 4090 Ti and a i9 13900KS. That all depends on the money and timing of once I've saved enough money for all of this... Overkill yes... But it's needed for stuff like live-streaming, gaming, content creation, speed etc. It's going to be my first build and if it's possible for me so will I try to make it something memorable... That's if this whole inflation thing doesn't stand in the way as I refuse to pay scalper prices or well those PC parts been overpriced.

I'm not in a rush though so which parts it'll be will be decided by when that time comes

I'm glad to see AMD doing some moves for sure as it can only be good for us and maybe also help Nvidia go even harder with their GPU's releases and always be competitive and give us something that's worth it and not disappoint us or release something that costs more than it should and isn't enough of a hardware jump between the previous and upcoming RTX GPU's from them.

Yeah true the whole CPU's thing isn't always very impressive and especially if it's the lower end ones but it can be surprisingly good from time to time like the jump from the i9 10900K and i9 12900K for example. But it sounds like this time with the upcoming i7 13900K and especially i9 13900K and I imagine the i9 13900KS as well... Will be something in the right direction which hopefully means Intel knowing what they're doing.

Then so do I just hope that there will be no bottlenecks that will stand in the way whether it's the GPU's, motherboards, Windows 11 or anything else as I do want stuff to be smooth for live-streaming, content creation, the usual stuff... Oh and some gaming of course

awesome gonna be exciting to see what other parts you pick for cooling and stuff once you decide to build it

yeah at least scalping is calming down it seems, I have never in my life bought a scalped part yeah just seems like a waste of money.. I have sold a few parts when price were crazy high tho

yeah rumors about the AMD cards seem insane, saying they might actually beat Nvidia in non-ray tracing games but we will

yeah you shouldn't run into many Bottlenecks unless your trying to game at 8k or something crazy like that with these new GPUs
