YeezyDudeWord... I hope some 8K @ 144 Hz monitors do get revealed in late 2022 or early-mid 2023 as I think I'll wait for those and until the RTX 4090 is out to start this whole building a PC thing

not professionally but i use after effects and premiere sometimes and it handles those fine
i just got the quadro cause it was cheap and in stock at microcenter

I would be going with a mix of workstation and gaming specs if I didn't have the M1 Pro MBP. For my use cases it's already bomb.
i'll wait for a used RTX 3060/70/80 with a good price.

I bought a dell xps with some pretty good specs. Not for gaming though(aside from warcraft 3)

Lowest I've seen for a 3080 10GB is 1299. I'd cop at that price if it wasn't for tax. S***s like 1500 after tax.
I think these next few weeks are ones to keep an eye on though. I have seen more available stock than I have seen these past couple months.

I did it. Blew my money. Newegg was selling a 3080 12GB for just a bit cheaper than some of the 10GB versions so I bit the bullet. And they're doing a $30 rebate thing so I saved a bit more.
