Man i want a 1440p monitor but theyre all TN and 27 inches which is a big no no for me
I play mainly fast shooters so I was in the market for TN. but still, after some calibration the colors are awesome (at least for my eyes). I've used 144hz VA panels and there was pretty perceivable ghosting.
If you're looking for a nice IPS display with those specs, I'd recommend the Acer XF270HU. I've heard great things about it and its ~280$-300$

^ This has been my dream build for a while now, I'm finally going to get the chance to buy all these pieces one by one in a couple weeks. I already have the tower, y'all let me know what y'all think. Any suggestions and alternative recommendations?
Bout to build my first pc. Is there a way to get windows for cheaper than the Microsoft price?
And also would it be cheaper/better to get a smaller ssd and then a terabyte hdd or just get a terabyte ssd?

You really don't need a TB SSD for your first build imho. I started with 240 and it blew me out of the water. If you have the budget for a larger SSD go ahead, but you asked which is cheaper. Then also a 1TB HDD will do just fine

Put me on bro, let me know
I just wanted to make the most high end build I possibly can, but if their are cheaper parts that perform just as well and are of equal quality I'm down.

You have a certain budget?
Do you have a preference on parts such as intel vs amd?
Nvidia is the default choice if you want the best cpu available.
When do you plan on building this? New amd GPUs are coming early 2020

I had planned on buying parts within the next couple months.
In terms of cpu I like intel, asus mobos and msi video cards.
Like I said if you can suggest me parts tat are the same but cheaper than the ones I listed, that'll be ideal.

Ok i can pick out parts to recommend is this machine strictly for gaming or do you some time of multi threaded work?

Nah mostly gaming, streaming and all that.
Also, in terms of mobo size, i like EATX

Cpu - i9 -9900ks
If you want an “HEDT” cpu the amd parts are way better
Gpu - 2080 base or 2080ti if you want the best
Ram should be 3200mhz at least
Those are the most needed changes the rest you could keep or swap for better stuff

good looks fam!!
How many ram sticks should I get?
Also you mind posting specific links for the gpu?
Any thoughts/advice for my build. First pc and I don't plan on playing anything too demanding. Mostly play casual free to plays like league and hearthstone, but I want the option of being able to play something like COD in the future. Wanna spend less than a rack for something good
Acer Gaming Monitor 23.6” Curved ED242QR wi 1920 x 1080 75Hz
ASRock ATX Motherboard (B450 PRO4)
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660
EVGA 750 GQ, 80+ GOLD 750W, Semi Modular
also thinking of starting off with 8gigs of ram and upgrading later on since I heard 16 is unnecessary most of the time
Friend was recommending I get a cooler, but I read that the stock AMD cooler is more than enough

An Amd gpu might be cheaper so it’ll have better price to performance.
If you don’t plan on overclocking don’t buy a cooler the in box cooler is enough if you run the cpu stock.

Get as much ram as you want but i don’t think you’ll need more than 32gb of ram.
There are a lot of aib GPUs so you’ll have to see which design you want and choose from there
gonna build a rig in this case when the 5900xt or 5950xt drops

going to use a 4950x for the cpu but im going to start with a 3600 cause the gpus coming q2 cpus q4
it's going to be an all amd beast
hopefully it can drive 8k 60fps

8k 60fps you gotta lower them expectations
8k 60fps you gotta lower them expectations
true but will definitely depend on the game, should be able to do rocket league and i can turn things down a bit for more demanding games
would be nice if the new amd cards are faster than the 2080ti
Gonna build a mini gaming PC late 2020 with an aluminum ITX case
