XTX benchmarks look really solid for price/performance. Once driver optimizations roll in over time, it's only gonna age better

    yeah it’s a lot better

the same voltage, clock speed and timings are the most important things so you can use different brands

but it generally isn’t recommended cause if one brand has a cheaper part it will slow down everything

the system might not be able to run in dual channel mode if something is off which is a lot faster, if you did use different brands i’d make sure that was working

ram all runs at the same speed so the weakest component slows everything, even if it might be the same specs on paper

Why does it say 100% GPU usage but only 2.0/24 gb dedicated GPU memory

could be nothing wrong, they're two separate monitoring stats and almost totally independent of each other

different apps are going to use different parts of your hardware

GPU VRAM and GPU processor are separate parts

when I game it bottlenecks at 100% GPU usage also

when I use some AI software it has the opposite issue

    VRAM 100%, GPU near 80%

bottlenecks are normal/common cause different workloads use different parts

yeah i have a pretty deep desk cause i have a 55 inch tv on it

I just got a board of wood from home depot and painted it though not a real desk

I put a keyboard sliding tray under it

mounted it to studs on the wall and attached 4 metal adjustable legs from ikea on the front to give it extra support

That's dum a 3090 shouldn't be maxed with only 2gb vram used I demand actions be taken.
