I downloaded the demo and was really surprised how bad it looks

Nintendo reportedly discourageing studios from making Switch 2 games, telling them to instead make Switch 1 games that can be upgraded on the Switch 2
They’re really fumbling the bag with this console launch damn

This just plain wrong where you even get this info. All we know is there are long ass waiting times for devkits and that Nintendo isnt saying why, everything else is conjecture

Although when the Nintendo Switch 2 hits it hits

Lmao we need to drop $300 on a Micro SDExpress for this philosophy
Just finished beating Grand Prix / Knockout Tour in all cc difficulties :mariolaptop:
Haven’t touched online or free roam mode yet but those are next
Did my 1st knockout tour online and got into the top 4, I expected to do worse considering how hardcore people are online

That better change during 2026 or it won't be a good thing for Nintendo tbh :/
Although when the Nintendo Switch 2 hits it hits
Yeah I've had some amazing experiences on this thing which just make it more frustrating
Unlocked all outfits and missing only two NPC characters but they’re annoying to get cus you gotta use that Kamek item to unlock them. I think I’ll just play normal and hope I unlock them eventually
Maybe I’m so used to how perfect MKW controls but man Sonic CrossWorlds controls like s***. So janky lol
Flying definitely feels better than MKW. I never liked how “realistic” they try to make the flying
Crossworlds feels much better
trying to finish DK bananza, metroid fusion, zero mission and prime 1 remastered before MP4 drops. praying they delay it to Q1. cant keep up with these games, need them to slow the pace a bit
and here I am bored only playing Valorant because there's no games to play.
Give me Prime 4 and Kirby and Pokemon now. Give me all 3 now haha
Edit: oh, you were trolling
I'll never relate to not having games to play. I got a backlog that never seems to get smaller.
It might just be me tho. It took me one month to finish bananza, ive seen others finish it in less than a week, which makes me question how do people find the time to play so much. Between work, other interests, going outside, house chores i find it very hard to find more than 2 hours a day to play, some weeks i'll play 2 hours total.
And that goes only for the switch. If you add pc there's other games in there that i havent touched that i bought months ago
Also i love replaying games so that might also play a part. Im replaying Metroid dread to have it as a point of comparison to silksong and it was short enough to cover the wait for release

I think being open to Switch 1 games would change the conversation but when they look as poorly as they do even on handheld it's tough sell
Not having anything to play applies to the S2 only really. My PC library is long af

I feel like my backlog is a backlog because those games just didn't draw me in right away so they stay buried in the trunk of my video game console until I someday randomly decide to give them another shot.
I'd rather replay the games that left an impact on me and feel good to play than to force myself through games that don't. I know there's games that take time to get into, but I think part of what makes a game good is its ability to draw you into its world right away and where it feels good to control your character.
