Mario kart world is only a flop if u are chronically online. the real world is different. in the real world it's on its way too becoming one of the best selling and most popular games of all time
The type of person to be upset with it is definitely the type of person to be 1000x more likely to be online in Mario kart communities, and feel very strongly about it
I don't know why they can't recognize that, and instead call it a flop when it's literally the exact opposite lol
Silksong!
Silksong and Hades II
it’s time
if this rumor turns out to be true, then i'm trying to figure out if they'll lure me in with this one. i have the Wii one and i could still play it if i break out my wii or wii u. but i never had a DS nor 3DS so those 2 ones would be new to me. might be enough to get me to buy this

They could have had one long direct last week.
Where is the real Nintendo direct

Ok here’s the “next week / after partner direct” direct
Now I’m thinking a Nintendo Direct in September. Probably just a Mario 40th one
Unless…… they hit us with a 3 peat and we get another one next week

maybe i am wrong but wouldn't it be weird to demo metroid prime 4 on aug 21 without having a direct about it first?

yea and don't get me wrong the die hards / competitive players / streamers matter. if the native worldwide ranked mode was improved to meet their desires, it would help the game sell.
i just don't think it's a HUGE factor meaning either way it's going to sell 50+ million copies.
if nintendo didn't let you play regular lap tracks online AT ALL, it would be a nightmare. but since you can play this way via friend rooms (where u dont need to be friends with ppl you just need the room code) it makes it just an inconvenience (a significant one, but not a game killer)
I just beat DK. Should I play Kirby for the first time? Beat DK post game? Or play Scarlet DLC?

DK post game is peak, wait to play Kirby until the switch 2 update is out

indie games dont have big corporations attached like 3rd parties such as capcom and square enix, so it’s harder for them to get noticed
it’s cool that Nintendo gives indies a spotlight, it’s important for healthy growth of the industry.

It’s cool
But I still feel like last direct and this next direct could have been combined
I’m sure there’s nothing worth it for me.
Just waiting for the real direct.
Galaxy 2 is one of the greatest video games ever made and Nintendo pretends it doesn’t exist
We’ll get this boring collection instead

this 3 pack would be solid if it comes true tbh.
galaxy 2 should be added to super mario 3d all stars as a paid DLC or you can buy the whole 4-pack if you didnt get it last time
maybe they'll do both of these things for the 40th

Scarlet dlc is crazy, both are genuinely phenomenal

If it's true it makes sense for them to be front loading multiplayer games since that's generally what made nintendos consoles so successful in the past
It would be weird as f*** if they put out some form of galaxy 2 at this point in the lifespan but nsmb makes sense to me

Wii coming to nso expansion pass next year, with galaxy 2 and twilight princess
