Im not a big smash guy (I like it but I'm not hardcore about it like I am for Kart). To me it feels like the versus style is not something they change up from one interation to another. For Kart, they tweak things. For Smash, it's the same s***.

Therefore I think they would need to do something more interesting with the 1-player campaign type stuff to make this game pop. otherwise it feels very redundant to me

technically the mechanics of every smash game are way different.

Every smash games feels way different. Melee is fast paced. Smash 4 is slow places. Ultimate’s mechanics are a hybrid of both. Brawl had sharking and tripping.

Smash 64 has archaic mechanics in comparison to all of them.

But I could see how casually it’s just roster changes.

every smash is extremely different lol. all the mechanics and feels are re-worked in so many ways, and the campaign modes are either heavily changed or new things keep getting added

they can easily do something better than what the last had for its campaign, or add new characters, rework trophies (most likely) and tons more

its not like they stopped making street fighter or tekken games either

Mannnn I’m sick of being 1st in 3 of the 4 races and then the last race right before the goal I get blue shelled or lightning strike into red shelled it’s so annoying lol

Ive only not seen them in stock at local grocery stores near me. you can follow twitter accounts that post restocks, or follow the subreddits for best buy or gamestop for news

such as give it a real online set up, really they could do that and call it good

or fix the other major complaints people have like the single player mode, and getting rid of trophies for something else with more of a sense of progression

ultimate is great but its crazy to call it perfect, or that it accomplished everything the series possibly can
