Am I the only one bothered with the fact that Switch 2 looks and feels exactly like Switch 1?

I was hoping it would look more distinct from the first Switch but it seems they're going with the "iPhone revision" route, focusing on small adjustments/improvements over time. Still, actually holding it and playing with it feels more premium and sturdy than I expected. A better build quality overall.

for the ui yeah, they seriously need to add actual themes on this thing to flair it up a bit

the idea of a switch 2 was pretty safe for nintendo standards but i kinda give em some leeway since this is like the first nintendo system which actual good specs for them

Haha yep. I got it now, a week after launch, mainly for these reasons:

1. While I wasn't in a rush to get it day 1 (or even now) due to the launch games not being THAT interesting to me, I was still gonna get it sooner or later cus there will inevitably be a Zelda, Splatoon or Mario game releasing on this thing that will reel me in

2. I generally like new hardware/video game consoles/Nintendo

3. Fomo (fear of missing out)

4. Splatoon Raiders unexpected announcement on a random Tuesday boosted my excitement

The Splatoon update is so clean. Exactly what the game needed after all these years.

Nice to hear. Unfortunately I sold all my physical Switch games (except BotW) so I don't have Splatoon 3 right now. I want to know what Splatoon Raiders is about. Hopefully they'll tell us more soon.
