Yeah GameCube controller is through Nintendo only. Everyone gets to order it May 13th, but if you get the invite, you can buy it early without having to buy the switch

You have to be subscribed for at least 12 months and played 50 hours of total gameplay on your Switch account and go to the how to buy section to show interest in a console and they’ll send you an invite eventually

To anyone who preordered from Best Buy: when you look at your switch 2 preorder, is the “ship it instead” button greyed out for you?

Asking because I have two separate orders through Best Buy, the switch 2 is in one, and a pro controller and camera is in another. With the pro controller and camera, I am able to click “ship it instead”, but with the Switch 2, I can’t.

I wonder if it’s only because they are only shipping to stores for the pre orders and the online Best Buy warehouses don’t have any. But also I’m still debating if I should try and secure a second one just in case lol
