He basically said "it is how it is"
Yup
We lost, hopefully this will change... Because I might be able to afford this now as an adult but I would hate how new generations won't be able to afford this... I know for a fact that me as a kid wouldn't have been able to get Switch 2 or the games
Bar the latest Zelda which I’m going to buy with the Switch 2.
What 2 games should I get with the Nintendo Voucher?
Tempted for Metroid Dread

Joycons not Hall effect
Wtf?
Nintendo fans celebrating not having achievement. Neurodivergent fan base
Nintendo fanboys lap up whatever Nintendo decides to do. Most boot licking fanboys in gaming

Nintendo stupid for this. They should have had OS wide achievements by the f***ing Wii U.

Hanh?! Man I don't know what to believe at this point cus there's been a lot of reports about them being hall-effect sticks and I think there was some patent about it but uh - whateva.

For all we know Nintendo could have come up with something that's even better than Hall Effect joysticks

Achievements are bad, and many developers agree. They shouldnt be mandatory, but up to the developers, like switch 2 games are. This is the one thing you cant criticize Nintendo about, and ive never seen an actual good argument as to why mandatory achievements should be in a nintendo console yet. It always comes down to a d*** measuring contest and showing off gamer cred points, it's proven how it has negatively impacted game design and how it psychologically impacts how the player engages with gaming as a whole. Let the devs individually decide whether they want them or not, as in that way it would be more suited to the type of experience they want players to have
Id argue the neurodivergents actually PREFER achievements lol, i've seen people refuse to play games that don't have them, its crazy

Yeah, I mean even as an adult with an income, the Scandinavian price is just way overblown, especially when you know that it's so much cheaper in most other countries.
For all we know Nintendo could have come up with something that's even better than Hall Effect joysticks
Possible but I'm not getting my hopes up for that
And truthfully, even my PS5 controller and Xbox Series S controllers have had drift issues.
For all we know Nintendo could have come up with something that's even better than Hall Effect joysticks
I'm not trying to be optimistic... but of the big three then Nintendo is the innovators and you just never know with them when it comes to developing something new

I suspected it would be something like that. Ideally it would be free, but 10 bucks is acceptable.

Trust me you don’t want an update anytime soon. Wait till Trump folds on tariffs (if he ever does that is)

Yeah, that was max non-highway-robbery price
Nintendo confirmed that the $450 price did not have the hypothetical 20% tariffs priced in. Tried to tell ya’ll
“Any previous tariffs were not factored into the $449.99 price itself.“
