The Duskbloods was my favourite game announcement. The Bloodborne influence was heavy in that game.

The ghost of Bloodborne that Sony had buried in the depths of hell finally managed to escape and found its way back to From Software and daddy Miyazaki and begged for a new host after years of being suppressed by Sony. Nintendo welcomed the ghost and promised to take care of it and keep it from the hands of other companies by making it a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.

Even if it isn't a straight up Bloodborne single player sequel, everything about it just pays respects to Bloodborne in ways that just makes me glad to see it getting at least some of the respect it deserves. Watching the trailer it's like the ghost of Bloodborne saying "My body is in shackles, but my spirit is still alive".

For sure man. So many things about it was screaming Bloodborne at me. Glad to see it even if it isn't a literal direct sequel. I'm just glad to see the "spirit" of Bloodborne still being alive in some form by the original devs.

Are people concerned about 80 dollar price tags on some Switch 2 games because those specific games don't seem to be worth the price, or because no game is worth 80 dollars or more? I'm asking because if I go on my PS5 store right now I see Monster Hunter Wilds, Assassins Creed Shadows, Death Stranding 2 all at 90 bucks so these kinds of prices already have a precedent. Video games are a luxury hobby and games have always been expensive to me. Used to be 60 bucks when I was a kid, now it's 70 or 80 or 90.
