Interesting theory from Kit, basically he tells this story that in 2019 that the team working on the e3 presentation were all truly shocked at the announcement of totk, and that’s because higher ups secretly they had cut that part out of the version of the presentation that the team working on it had and only a couple people knew the truth.

He thinks this same thing is happening now with the switch 2 announcement, hence Nate and others saying there won’t be much of a games presence in the announcement. There will be, it’s just that has been cut out of the version people are seeing early.

In other words, we’re about to f***ing eat
