MP4 and PLZ-A will remain exclusively on Switch 1 (aka no separate Switch 2 versions), but they’ll be enhanced when running the games on next-gen hardware.

I could try to predict the S2 software showcase, but I’m content with my original prediction about the successor’s reveal timing being potentially accurate (especially when there were a bunch of posters disagreeing with me itt )

Doubt it. We might see glimpses of some upcoming games but I don’t think they’ll confirm anything about the launch timing of those games. Basically the same thing as the Switch 1 trailer from October 2016. We saw glimpses of upcoming games but no more details about them.

I hope this is true. I’ve been suspecting that the C button could be some kind of “communication” button, giving you quick access to messages/friends list and so on. With the Switch not having an integrated messaging feature or better ways to interact with friends and the community, I would love to see something like this.

Some third party games I would love to see get announced for Switch 2 this year - some more likely than others:

Elden Ring
Elden Ring Nightreign
Death Stranding
Death Stranding 2
Monster Hunter Wilds

I bet all of these are coming eventually, but something like nightreign and death standing 2 Will come a lot later. Of these i think only elden ring comes out this year, mainly because if 3rd parties all release all they have at the same time it would hurt their sales a lot

Yeah, that's probably the most likely scenario, but man I would really love it if we managed to get ER Nightreign and Death Stranding 2 on Switch 2 on the same day as the other platforms. Are there any third party games you would like to see hop on the Switch 2 asap?

I want rockstar (mainly GTA 6) because I think everyone else will hop on regardless immediately. This things seems to be quite powerful and easy to develop for. I was worried about konami's big names but MGS3 delta is coming so im not even worried about that.
Maaaaybe from cause i can somewhat see them choose to skip switch for some reason but i choose to have faith, if nightreign makes it everything else from them will

Initially, I was thinking $400.

But the PS5 Pro price and weak yen is making reconsider and lock in $450 as Switch 2’s price as my guess.

Everyone thought the PS5 Pro was gonna be $600. That was a safe bet with extremes at $650. But then it was revealed and it was $700 with no disc drive and no stand. I think that sticker shocked everyone.

The yen has been weak for while and we all know Nintendo likes to make their money back right away on console sales.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised with $400 but not shocked if it’s $450.
