At 1080p? Sure it should be able to do that... 2K though? Maybe. 4K? Nah I am not sure about that tbh
4K would be a dream but I want to keep my expectations in check since we're dealing with Nintendo. If they can put out Fortnite in 1080/60FPS then I'm good. Switch 2 only needs to be as powerful as a regular PS4 for me to be satisfied. I tend to use Fortnite as a reference game when comparing console power because it's a cross-platform game that I've played on Switch, PS4 and Xbox Series S. Even the jump from the barely playable 30 FPS rotten graphics of Fortnite on Switch to the 60 FPS marvellous graphics of Fortnite on PS4 years ago was a drastic leap to me.
If the Switch 2 can do what the PS4 did in terms of graphics and power then that is good enough for me.
It’s funny to see the discourse around Wonder being $60 change so quickly.
When it was shown off, everyone was like “a 2D Mario game is $60?! There goes greedy Nintendo again!!!”
And then it released and everyone is calling it a masterpiece and GOTY worthy lmao
Very interested in seeing how Wonder has done. Nintendo is quiet with sales numbers. Maybe they waited for earnings day

Full price is fine for brand-new entries.
$60 for NSMBU Deluxe though?
F*** outta here Nintendo
That should’ve been $50 (I recognize the fact that adding Peachette to the game was taxing on the developers).
Return to Dream Land Deluxe from earlier this year also should’ve been $50. If they bothered to add online then full price would be more swallowable (
).
Actually the best price would be $40 like Metroid Prime Remastered, but I’m tryna be reasonable with a megacorp here

Yeah I agree. These Wii / Wii U ports should been $40 but it is what it is.
I bought NSMBU when it hit $35 for a Black Friday one year
Most Kirby games? I’ll wait for a sale
Prime was such a good deal for what we got. Truly amazing
All I'm saying is this: If Switch 2 doesn't at least play Fortnite at 60 FPS I might resign as OP.
Fortnite Switch players gotta be going through it with this recent update
Mfs probably still in the queue as we speak

re: Metroid Prime Remastered
Yep, the price was shocking to me, coming from Nintendo.
I wouldn’t mind if they charged $40 apiece for the other Prime games, granted that they receive the same treatment Prime 1 did.
But according to Jeff Grubb, the rework on the other two games is closer to Pikmin 1+2 on Switch than it is to MPR.
Perhaps Nintendo will shadow-drop them in the next Direct, the one where they finally unveil what Metroid Prime 4 looks like.
“Metroid Prime 2+3 available later today on the Nintendo eShop”
Speaking of Kirby games on sale, I’m actually kind of surprised Forgotten Land has never been on sale yet. If it’s still not on sale this Black Friday then I’ll start to think something’s up with HAL Laboratory lmao

I wonder if we really will get Prime 2+3 with basically a year left of current Switch. Feel like they should just wait for next gen
Forgotten Land the best selling Kirby game so that’s probably why it hasn’t really had a sale. Game looks fantastic, haven’t gotten around to buying it yet

Not sure why they should withhold Prime 2+3 for next-gen tbh
If you said Prime 4 I’d understand (although personally I think that one should be cross-gen cus not everyone will be able to get their hands on Switch 2 in its 1st year or two).

Return to Dream Land Deluxe officially discounted before Forgotten Land

Exactly... I think it would at least meet your current expectations of it and maybe exceed it by a little bit. But I guess we'll see how good it'll be once there's more leaks and its launch in the second half of 2024 (If there's no delay of it of course)
Insane era man

Tears at 20m sold going into the holiday season is absolutely insane
It’s about to surpass botw (7+ years sold by Mar 2024) sales by next May
switch 2 version/patch of totk will boost sales again too
