I heard people say overall the game’s too easy. There are probably gonna be DLC levels that offer a considerable challenge. Yes, that would probably mean Nintendo is withholding the hard s*** that core gamers crave behind a paywall

Galaxy 1 or 2 is easily top 3

never played galaxy 2 and for some reason Nintendo won’t release it on switch ugh, but I’ve heard it’s a classic

galaxy 1 was too easy for my tastes and the levels were too linear, I still think it’s a great game though just not top 5.

Yoshi controls in SMG2 are god’s work.. s*** fits like a glove. Whereas the Wii Remote felt gimmicky in SMG1, the sequel makes that controller seem groundbreaking. Basically they absolutely nailed Yoshi in 3D Mario (control his tongue with the Wii’s pointer controls).
That aspect alone made me look back on SMG2 so highly.

Oh yeah the rest of the game was pure 3D-platforming bliss.
I hope you get to play it someday.

3D All-Stars was half-assed smh.. We didn’t need that. Mario 64 eventually found its way on NSO, and Sunshine deserves a full-blown remake.

I’ve yet to still play that due to Nintendo’s greed lmao (6 years after launch and all they can give as a discount is 30% off.. What a joke.)

But I heard SMO is like cakewalk; basically there’s not much of a challenge in obtaining Power Moons. And that turned some people off

It's not greed when they put as much effort into it as they do and actually pay their employees well fam. They earned that.

And it's not a cakewalk. I can't deny there are indeed a lot of easy to acquire Moons around but the deeper into the game you get the harder, as usual. And by the post Bowser content the levels are insanely difficult and there is alot of it. Just get it promise you won't regret.
