“ Two sources VGC spoke to suggested that the console could launch with an LCD screen, instead of the more premium OLED, in order to bring down costs”
I can only excuse it once i see what it comes with and the price. OLED is too good to go back to LCD, even if steam deck is stuck with lcd
Oh i just read, as i suspected its supposedly to have increased storage. But while i can buy a sd card, i cant change the screen, so s*** decision on their part smh. But of course they can easily sell the OLED version in 2028 this way

just launch two models
is a DS lite hard to mod
or should i just buy a 208 in 1 card
Buy a cheap R4 card off ebay and install YSMenu on it
Sold my Switch after 5 years yesterday.
I haven't turned it on ever since I got a PS5 - so for almost a year, until I bought TotK. Once I finished TotK, realized that there isn't another game that really interests me coming out anytime soon & if something interesting does come out, I just hope Switch 2 has backwards compatibility.
I'll def get Switch 2, but I hope they handle the catalogue a lot better than they did with the Switch. It's amazing that we still don't have access to games like Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, The Thousand Year Door, etc. on their best selling console + not getting Metroid Prime 4 all these years later, like what the hell.

Its good nintendo isnt releasing yet again the same old zelda remasters actually, shows they got a good lineup of actually new games. I want wwhd switch too, but i aint in a rush, plus i can find other ways to play it in the meanwhile, cant say the same for mario wonder for example

And we only know about the next 3 months of releases, next 6-9 months could be packed
Metroid prime remastered, pikmin 4, totk, new Mario, this year was fire af

Don't care bout TotK DLC, the game wasn't all that in the end for me, I've only done like 80 shrines and basically ran thru the main quest after like 60 hours or so.
Felt far too similar to BOTW when it's all said and done.
Only game I care bout would be MP4, but if it releases this late in the Switch's cycle, I feel like it could get a release on Switch 2 easily. Don't care about 2D Marios at all.
Like I said, I haven't turned my Switch on for a whole ass year, it was just collecting dust, but that's just me, I understand there's still plenty to look forward to on it, just not for me.
Its so hype we're finally in the leaks and journalist reports stage of the new Nintendo console cycle. This is the first time i'm actively experiencing this lol

Smh... Oh well... I guess they will do it later on
18 million
Botw took almost 3 years to hit 18m, totk did it in a month god damn

I sold what your whole album sold in my first week
About 26 million until the Switch is the best selling console OAT
Will they get there?
Sand of times remake?
Oh thought you meant the new 2D game
Im guessing the remake won’t be for years lol. The studio that was working on it, got the game taken from them cus apparently it was so bad lol
imagine being me and buying an OLED for TOTK...haven't touched it since I hit phantom ganon...next game will probably be vampire survivors
clearly I'm doing something wrong here

Nintendo sold 11.47m Switches for the equivalent remainder of 2022. If they can maintain that same pace this year, they will be at 140m Switches sold worldwide at year-end. Then Nintendo only needs to sell 15m more for the rest of its lifetime to dethrone the DS and PS2 to become the best selling console ever. That's very doable.

In 5 years Switch could be at 180-200m imo, price cuts and software releasing for both switch and switch 2 could boost sales
