Imagine if at the end of the Mario movie credit roll they show a split second glimpse of the Master Sword hinting at a Zelda movie up next

I will give nintendo all of my money if they make a zelda movie
Forgot how good minish cap is, third boss goes crazy and the reward for beating them
GBA era really was a huge leap forward, game still feels epic

Very unlikely they would do the series justice

Depends on who they give it to
Studio ghbili
Miyazaki wouldn't do it though so it'd be the second tier crew

Miyazaki is one of my heroes and a huge inspiration but honestly there’s so many classic ghibli films that he didn’t direct, most of that studios output is exceptional. RIP takahata though that was a huge loss.
Studio ghbili
Miyazaki wont do it for reasons outside of his control, and there's no other talented director at ghibli, so unless they're ready for a post miyazaki hayao world then i dont want it from them
Got any suggestions?
Hmmm, of course id much prefer if it was a japanese animation studio doing it, 2d animation too. If i had to choose, id say director mamoru hosoda and studio madhouse, who directed movies like "summer wars", "wolf children" and the latest "Belle". I think he'd give an interesting portrayal of hyrule and the characters of link and zelda, maybe a bit more of a character focused story, but regardless something quality that stays true to Zelda's identity.
If not, id choose the studio kyoto animation, specifically the staff who worked in the anime "violet evergarden". Its one of, if not the best animation studio, and would give the Zelda art style justice. Plus they'd be good at nailing the atmosphere and themes of the series well. Although i think kyoto animation would be better for an animal crossing adaptation, since they're better at making shows about normal, daily life.
But what i want most is not even a zelda anime, but a splatoon one, under studio trigger who've made "promare", "kill la kill" and the popular "cyberpunk edgerunners". Splatoon and trigger are made for eachother and after cyberpunk success i just hope Nintendo is at least thinking about it.
Put anime names in brackets in case you're interested to see references on how im imaging an adaptation from these creators!

I don't watch much anime but whoever did Sword Of The Stranger could do it
