But the gameplay and performance is a solid 9/10

Yeah, while I’m generally digging Bayo 3, the more I play of it the more annoying some if it is.

Also Viola low-key kinda just sucks. Playing as Bayo after one of her chapters is like a revelation every time.

Yeah, I haven’t beaten the game yet but I haven’t seen an ending to a game be this reviled since ME3, so it must be pretty goddamn bad.

Which, to be fair, the story in this game is even dumber than the previous two, it’s so bad.

Back when it launched I didn't expect the Switch to sell this well either. I definitely didn't expect 100m. Back in 2017 I would probably say it'd do better than the Wii U for sure and at best beat the Gamecube. I thought it would hit maybe 30-50m but now we're at 114 and we still have some major releases coming, such as Pokémon Scarlet & Violet + BotW2 (I'm not yet used to calling it TotK).
