Also on the Pokémon direct a lot of the QOL things about Arceus that made the game amazing have been taken away or half-arsed in Gen 9. Suddenly worried these games will be worse than Arceus when I had high hopes they’d be better.

105 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and not only is this game a top 3 switch game ever made, it is one of the best games ever made and might be a top 5 nintendo game of all time. I am blown away. Not sure how much of the game I have left but this is incredible. Everyone needs to play it!

Only Switch games that rival XC3 in my opinion are Pokemon Legends Arceus and Super Mario Odyssey. But I am a pokemon super fan so you can take the Arceus pick with a grain of salt.

But I hate half the Mario games and never finished Xenoblade Chronicles 1 so do not take these picks with a grain of salt. #masterpiece

The combat is some of the best combat I have ever used. The vast amount and quality of game mechanics in this game is off the charts. The exploration is perfect and doesn't feel like a drag like some open world games can, the story is really good, the character designs are likeable (the only thing XC2 did better than XC3 IMO), and the characters are interesting.

Forgot to say the world design is one of the best I have ever seen. Incredible world design that just keep getting better and better as the game goes on.

Those games are free, so not as impressive as a full priced game

CSGO has 440k players on steam right now, 900k being the peak in the last 24 hours.

Valorant is estimated to have had 2 million total players active in a day. Google says 22.5 million players total in the last 30 days. So that's probably up at the top if true.

Splatoon 3 sold 3.45 million copies in Japan ALONE within THREE DAYS of it's release. That's not even counting the rest of the planet, we don't have those numbers. The game is incredibly successful and had the best selling first week of release out of any switch game.

I'm not discrediting any shooter out there, but really Splatoon 3 is impressive af. Who'd think that Nintendo of all companies would have a shooter doing that great?
