If we being real, this was really the worst Direct we’ve ever gotten in the Switch era tbh
Aside from a few gems here and there I couldn’t agree more

Facts, I can't think of a worse general Direct

without a doubt. so much f***ing filler

Not the worst, the one starting with overwatch and ending with xenoblade 1 remake is easily worse. And 2018 e3 too
But i agree this was kinda on the middle, sad they didnt show pikmin 4 gameplay but on the other hand i never expected a new one to actually exist. Too japanese focused (obviously because of tgs), and i expect the same for the state of play
Fire emblem, octopath traveler 2, pikmin 4 and zelda 2 title and release date drop is not the worst direct
Waiting on zeltik's 4 hour a***ysis on this new trailer and to somehow fit in the zonai
They are obviously still holding back A LOT about Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Whenever they show a teaser, it's extremely short and they barely say anything about it. We'll get more eventually.

Yeah it wasn't the worst
New Fire Emblem, new Pikmin and BOTW2 alone make it not the worst
But it definitely wasn't as good as the hype warranted, but that's on the community, I guess
Idk why I keep watching Nintendo directs
The only really good Nintendo directs that I can remember were like the March 2018 direct and E3 2018

All I see is a list of garbage
All I see is a list of garbage
whatever go back to xenosnore 3 everyone with a brain is busy getting hype for tears of the kingdom

This definitely one of the weakest ones but the fact I still got a lot out of it personally speaks volumes for how much I liked previous directs. This wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t horrible either

They keeping gameplay footage for switch 2 maybe
Also weird pikmin 4 comes out next year but we saw nothing as if 2023 isnt 4 months away. Wouldnt be too surprised if they plan a new hardware showcase on jan/feb like they did with the switch

Yeah, they gotta be saving up for another showcase, perhaps involving new hardware. We'll see.
The only thing I’m negatively surprised by is still no Advance Wars. Goldeneye got pushed for the same reason Advance Wars did from what I read up on at one point (was supposed to be announced at Summer Games Fest)
