Is it better than 2 so far?

The constant tutorials and anime-tropes really got to me after awhile and I dropped it.

Really enjoyed 1 though.

I'm only a couple hours in, but this is incredibly less anime-tropey than 2, though that's subject to change (doubt it though, since 2 dialed that s*** up to 11 lol). The game definitely feels more grounded/serious than 2.

Tutorials are fine as well. There's a number of pop ups, but don't think they're an issue. Combat is explained very well, unlike 2. I already think this game will be much better than 2, but don't think that's a high bar to reach, honestly.

The problem with Wii U wasn’t the name lol

The marketing confused people so they thought the gamepad was a peripheral for the Wii

It was definitely partly the name. Every single person I talked to I thought it was just a deluxe version of wii or something so didn't buy it.

If it was called switch 2 nobody would think it was a deluxe version of the switch

they might. i would prefer a cool new name.

About 7 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and it's been great. Combat started off pretty good, but it just opened up a decent bit so I'm really looking forward to messing around with all the different mechanics. Definitely has a much better start than 2 lol.
