I'm hoping we at least see that Dragon Quest 3 HD Remake, and hopefully some other JRPG stuff at least.
Willing to bet the same Persona stuff that were announced for PS5 and Xbox will be coming to Switch.
Idk. Disappointed, but personally don't think it'll be all that bad. Hopefully....
Would be dope if we got NieR: Automata
I’ll finally cop if true I’ve been waiting for a PS5 upgraded version but switch works too
Hype at an all time low
Couldn’t metroid prime 4 be shown tomorrow since a 3rd party took over dev?

I really doubt it :(
It's still a 1st party property
As much as I would like more information about some of the heavy hitting first party titles we're all longing for (like BotW2 and Metroid Prime 4), I must acknowledge that it's still been a solid, steady stream of exclusive releases this year (whether the games interest me or not), and more are coming.
2022 started off with Pokémon Legends: Arceus, then there was Kirby and The Forgotten Land + Triangle Strategy in March, Nintendo Switch Sports in April, Mario Strikers: Battle League and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes in June. In July we're getting Xenoblade Chronicles 3. September we're getting Splatoon 3. November we're getting Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
We're also getting Bayonetta 3 and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope sometime in the coming months to fill up even more slots, and let's not forget that we're only in June now. There's plenty of time left in the year to sprinkle even more releases and surprises in. We're most definitely getting more announcements and probably a general Direct in the next few weeks and months. Solid year imo.
With all of this in mind, it's easier to accept the Partner Showcase for what it is and still enjoy it. It's just the timing of it that is a bit out of touch with what we were expecting to see at this time of year. We're used to E3 and big announcements from developers every summer in June, so it is a bit of a bummer to not get a glimpse of those big first party titles we've been craving to learn more about - but it's all good for now since we're not really in a 'drought' objectively. There's still been a steady stream of exclusives/first party game in 2022 whether we subjectively have been interested in those games or not.

Nintendo bought Retro Studio, so it would be 1st party now
I really doubt it :(

Retro Studio is now a first party Nintendo company, so we're definitely not seeing that.
But this isn't entirely true. Release date and Box Art for Mario + Rabbits Spark of Hope just leaked. And I'm 100% sure this is gonna be one of the big things for tomorrow. I believe Age of Calamity was shown at a Partner Direct too. So 3rd Party spin offs of 1st Party titles aren't off the table
I honestly rlly enjoyed whatever partner direct they showed off nocturne and SMT V at, hope this is similar quality

that was the only good one lmao
25 minutes huh? they're gonna spend at least 5-10 minutes on one game
bayo 3 gameplay would be sweet
Nintendo really has nothing announced for holiday season rn other than a new Pokémon game and we’re about to be in July.
actually makes me think a new console is def coming with BOTW2 next year
