you are the only one who said ps5 or xbsex. everyone else is just saying more power not that kind of power. steamdeck clearly showing you can put quite a lot of power in a handheld today.

Its also a f***ton more expensive for a decent one tho

    steamdeck says hi

steam deck can’t even play modern games at 60fps in 900p at low-medium settings lol, not worth the clunkiness or price

it’s not a good example of a more powerful switch, it’s actually more like the base switch but it’s $100 more and no dock

I hope the switch pro isn’t a clunkier big device just to get a bit more power for the handheld experience, it’s good enough now. Just needs 4k docked and it’ll be a perfect console.

if they drop a steamdeck slim with an oled screen now we’re talking

Compared to other consoles all these games look like trash

    But

That doesn’t matter, it’s all about the gameplay.

    Cyberpunk sucked yet looked amazing.

But Switch games often look good for a Nintendo game but beyond that they don’t. But it doesn’t matter because the games are fun.

Pokemon Legends Arceus might be bad in terms of graphics and performance, but it still probably the most fun I've had in videogames in the last 10 years
Don't care, still play it docked and love every minute of it, it's Nintendo, who gives a crap about graphics with them

    Facts!!!!

And this we can all agree on, but saying games like luigis mansion 3, mario odyssey, botw look like trash is pure exaggeration, these are the games people have almost no issues with graphically and have amazing art styles

Arceus seems interesting but I’m not that big into the franchise overall. For instance I bought Shield and haven’t played it past a few hours. It’s mainly with the battle style that I don’t care for, however from reviews PLA is more focused on exploration and catching Pokémon, with battle being an option. Does anyone think I should buy this game still?

Is it safe to buy an OLED switch now or not? Not sure given cost if it’s gonna last and don’t want a Switch 2 announced soon if I buy one now

Depends. If you already have a Switch then I’ll say wait. However if you already have one but play in handheld mode a lot then go for it.

Or if you don’t own a switch then it’s a no brainer buy it now

Dope. I was thinking it’s a good move (added storage, I’ll mainly play in handheld)

    Can’t wait

I’m a Pokémon stan so I probably am not the best person to ask but I think the game is insanely good. Probably the best Switch and Pokémon game ever. The gameplay is focused on catching/exploring mainly. You can battle wild Pokémon as little or as much as you want and there are very few traditional trainer fights.

If you don’t like Pokémon because of the fights, you can easily not fight much in this game. It is a risky purchase if you don’t normally like Pokémon but it’s legit one of the best games ever made by Nintendo.

For what it’s worth I don’t like SwSh either

Don't feel weird about needing a guide if stuck at any point. The game can be cryptic af your first playthrough

I'm playing through Beginnings for the first time and really enjoying it Earthbound one of my favorites OAT

I don’t hate Pokémon lol, it’s the turned based battle system which I’m like that with towards any game. Pokémon Stadium is still my favorite Pokémon game for a reason . The catching/exploring looks promising and PLA is more of an open world. It looks like a game a casual player can get into without having to be a Pokémon stan.
