Bayonetta 3 is a smaller project but wasnt cancelled yet, if mp4 was cancelled they would've told us by now. Also, retro recently was hiring for mp4. Not to mention nintendo wanting to grow the metroid series and its not like they always only prioritize the biggest selling games

Nintendo isnt sony, they dont only release blockbusters, they want to cater to all kinds of people, including jrpg fans who'd like xenoblade and hardcore gamers who'd like metroid prime 4. They're coming 100%

Selling 2M as a jrpg its something rare outside old franchises like DQ/FF or new hits like Persona (And if you want to count them Souls n MH) which both games did so Thats enough for a sequel

I'm the opposite haha. I like when they are later so I can watch them in peace at home. Too many times I've been having to sneak-watch a Direct on my phone in the middle of work or on the way home. I prefer chilling at the crib and watch on the tv or computer.
