Finally beat Super and Metroid Fusion for the first time, should I jump into Dread or take a break? Don’t want to get burnt out of the Metroid formula but if the gameplay is fresh enough I should be fine I think

To be honest 2d metroids are so short that its difficult to get burnt out, but either way its fine. They do give you a short summary of the plot of fusion at the beginning so even if you take a break it wont be an issue

Dread will definitely feel fresh compared to the two you played and it’s a direct continuation of Fusion so would be a good idea to play it now. Heads up that it’s a lot more difficult than either of those

If people are looking for PLA leaks, just wait until this coming Friday.

Pokemon always leaks on twitter the week before release date.

Also looking forward to the Yeat tape @Ikki14

wholly disagree i wanted to love that game but it never picked up on the challenge and i think i finished it (i am an adult btw so im not mad at a kids game being a kids game)

wish there was a market for slower paced harder puzzlers with cool aesthetic (like x-com kinda fits but its just so serious looking)

Each level has several optional challenges that are a lot harder than just beating the level, so the game allows you to make it as difficult as you want to

If you just got the star and didn’t do any of the hard stuff then that’s probably why it was easy

I like when they leave difficulty up to the player to decide tbh

Also even without the DLC there’s like 80 levels across 3 books so it’s a pretty big undertaking to complete it all, you sure you really finished it? It’s one of those things I think I’ll get to eventually but I’m taking my time

i did the challenges i just found it still lacking but i'm realitvely good at puzzle games at least compared to othr genres so it might just be me

@BBLDRIZZY into the brech is a good rec but what makes captain toad so appealing to me overall is that its a tacticl game with direct control over he character which we dont see that oftn. I really like controlling toad directly but i guess it might limit the possibilities for complexity that u might get in other strategy games.

anyway seconding into the breach its a v fun puzzler

    Metroid: dread

After botw play links awakening hd

maybe animal crossing but idk it’s an acquired taste. If you like “the sims” it’s somewhat similar but more goofy

Slept on it and I think one day to reset myself might’ve been enough actually, started it today and it’s too good yo The plot summary you mentioned was really good too loved seeing Fusion scenes in 3D

Thought Switch fam would think this was cool.

Finally got around to cleaning my room. The cleaning is done. Now I’m just tryna turn it into a dope game room and s***

For all my Zelda fans, just put this up on the wall using a whole bunch of Velcro lol

Also my entire video game collection

As you guys may or may not know, I use to work at Toys-R-Us until it went into liquidation and eventually closed here in the USA in 2018

Anyways, I got that Link cardboard display from working there as well as these:

Toys R Us vinyl scroll poster

And finally, this Mario & Yoshi thick cardbaord cut out. About 53 inches diagonally

How it looks next to the tv

    How everything looks together!

Still a work in progress but I’m loving how it’s turning out so far

I finally see a reward that I like but I don't have enough Platinum Points to redeem it

  • Seems like I called it with Arceus leaks coming out. Although one prominent leaker has already gone dark after posting some pics of the start of the game as well as releasing some of the soundtrack for the game (sounds like BOTW btw LMAO).

Saw the Dialga and Palkia leaks. I get what they were trying to do...but they look f***ing hideous.

  • Jan 19, 2022

Tryna get into Pokémon Legends: Arceus but man the footage looks so rugged, both graphically and gameplay-wise. I hope it's better than it looks. Not yet convinced.
