The success of BOTW really did help I think in revisiting Nintendo's vision for the company and its games to follow. Hoping GF looks at the Zelda franchise and starts to push Pokemon further but I have my doubts.
people say this but BOTW took like 5 years and delays for one finished product. GF releases these pokemon games yearly. it's not gon a happen unless they actually take real time.
This a day 1 cop for me tbh
AC2 still a top 10 game OAT
gonna need to play these because I was so confused playing Valhalla and the recent games because they were filled with metaphors and references to the Isu backstory and I never played the original games
BRO IM TURNING AROUND ON THIS LEGENDS GAME
as long as it keeps a solid 30fps then it could be worth trying

im thinking that Pokemon LA, Splatoon 3, Kirby AFTL, Bayonetta 3 and Zelda BOTW2 are the last major games for the OG Switch run and they'll finally move on after that to a 60fps near 4K model

Welcome to the dark side
I've been seeing people complaining about the lack of trainers to battle in PLA and I've wondered to myself why would they complain about that for PLA.
The whole story is wrapped around the beginning of Pokemon and how they came to be partners with humans, so I'm glad GF is making a game centered around discovering and battling pokemon as its own challenge.
If people want trainers, you have decades of mainline pokemon games that do the same repetitive thing.
If PLA is a success then we can see GF build off of PLA and implement more trainer battles as well as the continuation of battling and capturing pokemon.

Honestly I could care less about the trainer battles, what I want from this game is to be fun to explore that’s it

Release date out of nowhere!
Game looks amazing, really interested in this
Looks fun tbh, but man I wish it was 60 FPS. If Mario Odyssey was 60 FPS, then I feel like this game should be able to pull that off. This looks like Super Kirby 3D World Odyssey.

Pretty sure it's 30 based off of what my eyes are telling me. Looks too choppy to be 60.

Oh ok then, guess for me it wont be that big of a problem lmao

Youtube vid is 60 so maybe not. Also my gosh this game is sorta pretty.
Damn Kirby is the March game
Splatoon 3 gonna be June probably then
Splatoon was always gonna be the june game, it makes too much sense. Maybe we get splat 3 testfire in march tho

The Youtube video has the 720/60fps setting but many videos on Youtube do. If you pick 480p, the FPS on the gameplay itself looks the exact same. There were like 2 instances where it seemed to hit 60 fps at a certain animation/cutscene or menu, but the gameplay itself looks like 30. Nonetheless, it definitely looks pretty.
