Dunno, I've been wanting to play a JRPG, but never played SMT or Persona. Checked the reviews and gameplay videos, don't really think it's my cup of tea, honestly...

If pokemon is your thing, smt v is pokemon but harder and with more emphasis on exploration. Do you tho

thats fine but i think you can do a lot better than pokemon

dragon quest, octopath traveller, literally any other jrpg on switch or basically any game on switch is money better spent IMO

the thing with pokemon is you know what youre gonna get. so if youre looking for that feeling specifically then get it, I know people s*** on the recent games but youre not gonna get that specific style of game anywhere else
