Insane numbers, mario kart 8 deluxe became the best selling mario kart beating mario kart wii and its on track to beat mario bros for the nes as the 2nd best selling nintendo game after wii sports. Zelda at 24 millions when the best slelling title before it was at 8 million is the true crazy achievement tho, 4 years later still selling a million per quarter at full price. Truly timeless game
Also switch at 92.8 million units, this holiday its def beating wii
Switch dead on arrival.

No those sales covered until end of september, so no metroid and no switch oled. We'll have to wait for february
Thinking about jailbreaking the OG switch since I have the OLED now
Do it, it's easy

MK8D is Nintendo’s GTA5

They keeping that sequel for the next switch. Mario kart 8 deluxe is a wii u game and its still a looker, imagine what a mario kart 9 on the next switch would look like. Plus it guarantees that the next switch is a success

Not sure if a game going on sale within weeks of its release is a good or bad thing

It’s a budget game charging $60. $20 shoulda been the normal price like someone ITT said
Game is super bare bones

On eshop I believe it’s between the $40-$50 range but still agree with it being too much for what it was.
I honestly don’t know if I should buy the game or not. It seems like a typical cash grab game with selling a product because of its brand, without really supporting it to build a base. Hence why the game is in its bare bones stage.
However there was a demand put on this game because of the online issues with Smash and was setup to rival it. There is a double edge sword here because there has to be a base to build on, but at the same time will that base stay loyal to a game that at its bare minimum.
I’m one hour into Metroid. This feels like a horror game lol

Nickelodeon’s online isn’t that much better if at all apparently.

Series was inspired but the sci fi horror film Alien so it's doing its job right

Interesting thread on investor meeting. Main thing of interest for me is them investing 900m$ on expanding their studios and to make even more games, maybe even try riskier games like star fox or f zero that have never been big sellers. Also they planning to expand their ips with movies, mobile games, etc, starting with mario, so that's also a good thing

The crazy thing is Skyward Sword selling already as much as the Wii version. No wonder Nintendo keeps doing these
