splatoon raiders is a banger. beat it and it was so much fun. TBD how many hours i'll put into the post-game where you have to grind to progress but getting to credits was a blast

mario kart world still heavy in rotation and will be for another 5 years for me

star fox - i got it but havent dug into it yet. let my friend borrow it in fact. not sure if this is worth the $50 but they did a nice job with the remake (good new cut scenes and stuff)

pokopia isnt really for me but it's poppin off as a very popular cozy game

How was Metroid prime. I bought that game didn’t open it yet though

didnt play it and it pretty much flopped. i'm not a metroid guy anyway so it was an easy skip for me.

ppl didnt say it sucked though. good not great was the sentiment i saw, which was disappointing for a mainline metroid prime game that took forever to develop. if you like MP you will probably enjoy it. the overworld was criticized but the levels themselves were probably cool

The Duskbloods is a FromSoft multiplayer PvP game coming out soon, looks cool if something like that is your cup of tea

It was solid but it had flaws, you could tell the desert was an issue for them, it was kinda empty and boring and they make you collect crystals for the endgame which was heinous

It’s definitely a fun game but there’s things about it they could’ve easily changed or dropped to make it a classic like the other metroids. The tone and atmosphere was a bit off, I enjoyed my time with it despite all that.

Metroid prime remastered on the switch 2, on the other hand, absolutely f***s and it’s 1080p handheld with the boost mode

They don't give a f*** about sales potential if a game sounds cool enough, its not their MO. And imo its a big reason why they usually are able to have unique collabs with 3rd parties like Platinum with bayo 2 and astral chain, and now from. I don't think any other platform holder would've let THE Hidetaka Miyazaki work on a multiplayer only game, yet Nintendo was as excited about the idea as him.

In an industry never as risk averse as now, its very important to offer the world new, different experiences, even if they never become break out hits.

i dont really care about duskbloods because i'm a complete newb to From software, but i'm planning to get Elden Ring on Switch 2 and who knows maybe i'll fall in love with From.

but in any event, Duskbloods looks so sick. Nintendo getting this exclusively is huge.

So far I’ve enjoyed Bananza, Hades 2, P:Z-A, Metroid Prime 4, Pokopia, Yoshi, Star Fox, BOTW/TOTK/Pokemon scarlet upgrades, and currently playing through Path of Radiance in anticipation for the new FE next month

People speculated that Mario 64 will probably get a remake given that NS2 remakes of OOT & SF64 exist..
But f*** that
SUNSHINE is the one that needs a remake.
Imagine that s*** with modern graphics & lighting techniques and being an actually decent game lmao

sunshine still looks so good though, it’s kind of hard to believe it’s a GameCube game. especially the widescreen hd remaster in 3d all stars.

Just beat splatoon raiders and all the pre-post game spicy levels. Played on survivalist the whole way. Made it extremely fun

This game is amazing. I hope they release DLC see for this, I’d gladly pay for more content.
