It genuinely feels like Nintendo wasn’t really ready to release the Switch 2 with how sparse major releases are. Especially in year 1 of a console that had the biggest hype ever
I always thought this too. They soft announced it months before the Direct because of the leaks then didn't have much ready for launch
damn 2 main directs a year might be the new norm lmao, that’s both exciting and not exciting idk how to feel about it.
They’ll supplement with the smaller directs so at least we have that, I liked the Kirby directs for instance. But there was something magical about the switch 1 era where it felt like we were getting 3-4 main directs every year
Tbh i'll take it if it means every general direct is great
I think I play too much pokemon
I was shopping in the nearest big city and thought I saw a shiny pigeon between a group of other pigeons because it was light brown instead of gray

You’re telling me you saw a shiny pidgeon in real life and you didn’t catch it?
When do ya’ll think we might get a special edition Switch 2? My screen got slightly scratched by the dock lol I f***ed up by not getting a screen protector. It bothers me, even though I can only see the scratches when it’s off in certain lighting.

I feel like the next Zelda/Mario/Pokemon games will definitely get one, probably splatoon too
so maybe this year but basically guaranteed to get one when pokemon drops next yr

i took my Switch 1 Pro Controller apart to clean it to solve the stick drift. it was a success and now it's a functioning controller again.
the screws were a b**** tho. some of them got stripped and were a b**** to remove. if you f*** it up at all it gets stripped and becomes super annoying.
still tho, it was a successful salvage of the controller. glad i did it on my own and if i need to do this again i'll be better at it
There have been a lot more announced real Switch 2 physicals that I haven’t been able to write down to buy eventually so this is totally nice to have. Gonna go through this later to write down

That list is missing Sonic Racing Crossworlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Undertale $2 on Steam vs $12 on eShop
It's why most steam deck etc users won't get one this time around
The novelty of having these games handheld is different to how it was when switch 1 came out
I got them for like $5 each in the EB Games NZ closing down sale, why these 3 specifically always

From what I read Costco is emptying their stock of these 3 to make room for the next games for them to have on stock
got a physical copy lol target showed as limited stock so I drove 25 min. This s*** was hiding behind pokopia in the cage
only copy left
My friend is gonna love it
(Tomodachi life)
My fiance just got me a switch 2 randomly.
I have a ton of switch games. What the hell is there to play on this?
We did get pokopia, so now its either donkey kong bananza or Mario kart world.
I loved mario kart 8 but even i didnt really play it alot.
Is donkey kong really that good? Heard its the same team behind odyssey so thats a huge boost in interest but it seems like that s*** went way under the radar
Did hear a leak of a new star fox game. Star fox 64 is seriously one of my top 5 favorite games ever. Thats something id fork over good money for.

first party wise is kinda weak atm but bananza was very good and is def worth a cop. also would say kirby air riders is pretty fun too
this system really shines if u never had a switch 1 or are using it as a multiplat system for games you might have some interest in but usually wouldnt go for. like for instance i got the persona and smt games on here that im looking to play in the near future

Besides Bananza - nothing much, really, if you're talking about 1st party titles.
Some solid 3rd party games, if you want to play RE9, Pragmata, etc. handheld.
There are rumours of a new Zelda (Ocarina of Time remake), a new Star Fox, and there's a new Fire Emblem game coming out soon, so at least that's something to look forward to.
NGL, my Switch 2 has been collecting absolute dust since I got it on launch. Besides Bananza, no game has really gripped me.
